What does this measure?
This indicator presents the median family incomes of residents in Orange County’s municipalities — including villages, towns, and cities — for the years 2008 through 2023. The data reflects income distribution among all families, including those with no income, and the median divides the population so that half of the families earn more and half earn less. All income values are adjusted for inflation and rounded to the nearest whole dollar.
