What does this measure?

This table shows the annual number of deaths by suicide across counties in the Hudson Valley region—Orange, Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester—as well as New York State overall. The data covers individual years from 2006 to 2011 and a combined total for 2017–2019. This measure helps track changes in suicide deaths over time and compare patterns across counties and the state.
