What does this measure?
The NYS Department of Environmental Conservation issues SPDES permits to control the quality and character of wastewater and storm-water discharges in accordance with the Federal Clean Water Act. Besides listing the facility, inspection counts and the number of quarters in which the facility was found to be in noncompliance with water discharge regulations is displayed.
