What does this measure?

This data reflects a number of federal grants awarded to Orange County, local municipalities, and nonprofit organizations through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to benefit residents with low to moderate income. Besides general CDBG program funds, there are CDBG Disaster Recovery funds and CDBG Coronavirus funds available. 

Summary Statement

Between 2018 and 2025, Orange County has been awarded $21,522,458 in CDBG funding to help fund Water and Wastewater Infrastructure, Senior Centers, Public Services, ADA Accessibility and Park Development, and Drainage and Street Improvements. The vast majority of projects went to local municipal entities. The largest amount of funding went to Drainage and Street Improvements, followed by ADA Accessibility and Park Development.
