What does this measure?

This indicator tracks the number and rate of births to teen mothers aged 15 to 19 across New York State and selected Hudson Valley counties. Rates are expressed per 1,000 females in this age group and reported in overlapping three-year periods from 2011–2013 through 2019–2021. The measure helps monitor adolescent pregnancy trends over time.
