The information below shows the average annual wage in Orange County and the other Hudson Valley counties from 2014 to 2024. Average Annual Wage is the sum of all wages for the four quarters of the year (total annual wages) divided by the annual average employment.

Summary Statement

All Hudson Valley counties and New York State reported growth in average annual wages between 2014 and 2024. Orange County’s growth in the 10-year period was behind Sullivan and Ulster counties and was higher than Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester, as well as New York State overall. Ulster County saw the largest change, increasing 55.7% from 2014 to 2024.
